Event Announcement (3): Game Changer

Chess for Life, Yarm School, 2018
Our third event announcement of the week is the reveal that we are bringing Grandmaster Matthew Sadler and Woman International Master Natasha Regan back to Teesside for a very special Project 30 event.

Last year's Chess for Life event was one of our best-ever chess days here on Teesside (the reports can be found here). Matthew and Natasha now have a new and very highly regarded book to talk about, called Game Changer.

I recently wrote a series of blog posts about Game Changer over at the Delancey UK Schools' Chess Challenge website and they can be found here.

In addition to interactive lectures about Game Changer, there will also be a simultaneous display and a signing session.

This event, which will take place at Yarm Preparatory School on Saturday 22 June 2019, is invitational. I have invited numerous seniors and juniors and more invitations will be sent out once the specified time has lapsed on the initial wave.

Given that the 9th CSC Team Tournament and the brand new
Teesside International Women’s Invitation Chess Championship are on consecutive days, to be followed immediately by Game Changer, it is clear to see we are in for an extremely busy week on Teesside.
