2018 World Chess Championship

The 2018 World Chess Championship starts today at The College, Holborn, London.

Champion Magnus Carlsen will play 12 games against challenger Fabiano Caruana in what should prove to be a very tough match indeed.

The official website can be found here.

The games can be followed live in various other places too - just search for the player's names online.

Further reports will follow and CSC Teesside will be making an appearance at the big match one day next week so expect a photo-report from the scene.
