13h CSC Teesside Team Event: Stockton and Hartlepool

                                       

The third and final end-of-year CSC Team Tournament was hosted by Billingham South this afternoon. This was the Stockton and Hartlepool section.

Defending champions Preston took a while to warm up and left themselves with too much of a mountain to climb as regards hoping to retain their title.

Hosts Billingham South dominated the first round, with four straight wins, but Hardwick Green and Throston pushed them all the way in the second half of the tournament.

Eventually, Billingham South and Throston - two of our original CSC Teesside schools and both former champions, shared first place after a thrilling battle.
